On Friday, December 5, Miami attorney Fernando Oyarzun was honored to serve as a panelist for Young MIAS, a network of young practitioners and students interested in international arbitration and alternative dispute resolution.
Titled “Real-World Applications of AI in International Arbitration,” young practitioners from around the world gathered during Miami Arbitration Week to explore how artificial intelligence is transforming international arbitration practice. The program provided practical insights on the responsible use of AI in case strategy, evidence handling, drafting, and tribunal support, and included discussions on ethical, confidentiality, and procedural issues.
The event marked the end of Miami Arbitration Week, emphasizing Miami’s position as a top forum for innovation in international dispute resolution. It showcased the next generation’s dedication to using technology to improve efficiency, quality, and access to arbitration.
