Harvey Oyer Celebrated during BDB Gala

West Palm Beach partner Harvey E. Oyer III received a warm thank you at the annual gala of the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County. The 40th annual event took place at The Breakers in Palm Beach on September 9.

The event celebrated another year of success for the Board under Harvey’s stewardship as Chair of the organization. It also served as an opportunity to highlight Harvey as outgoing chairman and thank him for his exemplary leadership from 2021 to 2023. Among his many accomplishments for Palm Beach County, Harvey was particularly lauded for:

  • Facilitating the arrival of 57 new companies to the county
  • Creation of 4,341 new jobs
  • Creation of $464.5 million in capital investments
  • More than 2 million sq. ft. of office space leased

Proceeds from the evening benefit the Business Development Board, a private, not-for-profit corporation, in its mission to achieve economic development goals in the areas of business recruitment and expansion, job creation, workforce development, infrastructure and availability of capital.
