Jamie Wasserman selected for Women Leading BrowardFort Lauderdale business litigation partner Jamie Wasserman has been selected to participate in Women Leading Broward’s Program Class VIII. The program begins in January 2021 and runs through the Spring.

The Women Leading Broward (WLB) initiative was designed exclusively for women leaders as part of Leadership Broward. The goals of the initiative are to promote the professional advancement of women, enhance women’s awareness of their own potential, increase the visibility of women leaders in our community and help participants to grow their leadership skills. The program provides opportunities for high potential women to develop their skills and advance their careers through mentoring, education, and networking, inspiring them to serve as leaders.

Jamie has participated in the Leadership Broward Foundation as a member of Class XXXVII. She has also served as a Board Member and was most recently appointed to serve as General Counsel.

About Jamie B. Wasserman

Jamie B. Wasserman is a partner in the Ft. Lauderdale office of Shutts & Bowen LLP, where she is a member of the Business Litigation Practice Group. She regularly represents physicians, physician group practices, and licensed healthcare facilities in business and corporate litigation and arbitration matters. She also represents developers, commercial landlords, and lenders in real estate litigation matters and partners or members of legal entities in business disputes. Jamie is also experienced in drafting employment agreements, including non-competition and non-solicitation agreements.
