Shutts & Bowen LLP Orlando Partner Mark Thomson has been appointed by the Board of County Commissioners to the Orange County Citizen Corps Council.

In this role, Mark will serve on the advisory body that supports emergency preparedness, public safety and crime prevention initiatives, disaster planning, and community resilience efforts throughout Orange County, to make Orange County residents and their families safer from threats of terrorism, crime, and disasters.

His appointment reflects his commitment to civic leadership and public service, bringing his legal experience, law enforcement experience, and community involvement to the Council's mission.
