Michelle Hendler Appointed to the Board of Trustees for the Jewish National Fund

Miami partner Michelle Hendler was recently appointed to the Board of Trustees for the Jewish National Fund (JNF).

JNF is a nonprofit organization and United Nations NGO (non-governmental organization) that gives all generations of Jews a unique voice in building a prosperous future for the land of Israel and its people. JNF strives to bring an enhanced quality of life to all of Israel’s residents and translate these advancements to the world beyond. JNF is “greening” the desert with millions of trees, building thousands of parks across Israel, creating new communities and cities for generations of Israelis to call home, bolstering Israel’s water supply, helping develop innovative arid agriculture techniques and educating both young and old about the founding and importance of Israel and Zionism.

About Michelle G. Hendler

Michelle G. Hendler is a partner in the Miami office, where she is a Co-Chair of the Creditors’ Rights Practice Group. In working to resolve disputes in and outside of the courtroom, Michelle focuses her practice on real estate and creditor’s rights matters. She represents lenders, real estate investors, and special servicers in commercial foreclosures, loan enforcement actions, guaranty claims, and note sales, and she represents court-appointed receivers.  Michelle has experience litigating CMBS transactions and institutional loans in various industries, including large malls, shopping centers, hotels, warehouses, and investment properties.
