Shutts & Bowen LLP is pleased to announce that Tallahassee’s Michelle Montanaro was recently appointed by Governor Ron DeSantis to the Judicial Qualification Commission on September 21, 2022.

Michelle was appointed as part of the fifteen-member commission, with a term expiring on December 31, 2026. The JQC is charged with investigating allegations of misconduct of justices and judges, and includes non-lawyers.

Michelle, a Florida Registered Paralegal in the firm’s Tallahassee office, previously served as a Judicial Assistant at the Second Judicial Circuit Court.
