Tara Price Presents Goldstein-Van Nortwick Award at Florida Bar Foundation Awards Ceremony

On June 22, 2022, Tallahassee partner Tara Price presented the Goldstein-Van Nortwick Award at The Florida Bar Foundation’s Awards Ceremony and Breakfast.

The Goldstein-Van Nortwick Award for Excellence, which was sponsored by Shutts & Bowen, recognizes the significant impact work undertaken by a foundation grantee. The award is named after Steven Goldstein, a former legal services attorney and law professor who advocated for the legal rights of the poor and disadvantaged, as well as Judge Bill Van Nortrick, a foundation president who devoted decades of leadership promoting pro bono and legal aid service.

Tara presented the Goldstein-Van Nortwick Award to the winning project, The Pinellas Eviction Diversion Program, which was designed to provide holistic services to tenants in Pinellas County, including free legal assistance, opportunities to mediate with landlords in a virtual setting, expedited access to rental assistance and housing navigation. The first runner up was The Florida Health Justice Project and the second runner-up was Americans for Immigrant Justice.
