Miami partner Aliette DelPozo Rodz has been appointed to the Florida Bar Grievance Committee for Miami-Dade County’s Eleventh Judicial Circuit. Her appointment begins on November 1, 2019, for a three-year term.

Bar Grievance Committees are charged with receiving, screening, and acting upon complaints of unprofessional conduct by attorneys practicing in their designated circuit. The committees are comprised of volunteer lawyers and public members. Each of Florida’s 20 judicial circuits has at least one committee, with a total of 81 committees across Florida. Members who serve on a grievance committee play an integral role in improving professionalism by providing an informal, educational process to help uphold professional standards in the practice of law.
