Art Menor Elected to Economic Council of Palm Beach County Executive Committee

December 6, 2007 - West Palm Beach, FL – Shutts & Bowen is pleased to announce that Arthur J. Menor, Managing Partner of its West Palm Beach office, has been elected to the Executive Committee of The Economic Council of Palm Beach County, Inc. at its annual membership meeting held on November 8, 2007.

Mr. Menor is also the Chair of the firm’s West Palm Beach Real Estate Practice Group and has been active in The Economic Council since 2003.

Founded in 1975, the Economic Council of Palm Beach County, Inc. has been serving the citizens of Palm Beach County for more than 30 years.  It is a not-for-profit, non-governmental, nonpartisan, private business organization. Its mission is to create an environment to help business prosper.  Membership is by invitation only and limited to 140 key business leaders in the county.  Its members represent every geographic area of the county, all major business categories from agriculture to high tech, and all sizes of businesses.  These characteristics and the Council’s history of advocating positive change have enabled it to be a respected “voice of business” on issues affecting the Palm Beach County community.
