Brendan Barry Attends Coast Guard Foundation Gala

4.22.19

Fort Lauderdale real estate partner Brendan Aloysius Barry attended the Coast Guard Foundation’s annual dinner gala held at the Pier Sixty-Six Hotel and Marina in Fort Lauderdale on Thursday, April 18.

The event is a tribute to the 7th Coast Guard District. Headquartered in Miami, this district is responsible for Coast Guard activities throughout a 1.7 million square mile area including Puerto Rico, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and 34 foreign nations and territories. The dinner honored the work of the Rescue Coordination Center Miami and Air Station Clearwater, which rescued 28 crew members from a sunken 131-foot commercial fishing vessel halfway between Jamaica and Columbia. The skill and dedication of these teams resulted in all 28 crewmembers of the Columbian fishing vessel surviving.

Brendan is a member of the Board of Directors of the Port Everglades association and regularly consults port-related businesses and business owners in commercial matters. He is pictured above with Port Everglades Association member Bob Toney, U.S. Congressman and Chairman of the Subcommittee on Coast Guard and Maritime Transportation Sean Patrick Maloney, Port Everglades Association member Loir Baer.
