Ella Shenhav Receives “Outstanding Pro Bono Service by a Young Lawyer” Award

Ella Shenhav was selected by the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Pro Bono Committee as this year’s recipient for “Outstanding Pro Bono Service by a Young Lawyer.” The award ceremony was held at the HCBA Chester H. Ferguson Law Center on April 20th at 5 p.m.

Ella has contributed more than 100 hours of legal pro bono service last year alone and has spent hundreds more in the administration of a variety of pro bono programs, including her role as coordinator of the Project H.E.L.P. clinic at Metropolitan Ministries. Project H.E.L.P. (Homeless Experience Legal Protection) enlists local attorneys, law students and other legal professionals to provide free legal clinics to homeless individuals.
