2018PresidentialCitationWest Palm Beach partner Harvey E. Oyer III received the 2018 Presidential Citation Award presented by the Florida Historical Society on May 18, 2018. Harvey was honored for his exceptional service in support of preserving Florida history. The award was presented to him at the organization’s Annual Meeting & Symposium held in Sarasota.

Harvey E. Oyer III is a fifth generation native Floridian, and is related to the original "Barefoot Mailman." As an attorney, Harvey has provided pro bono services to the Florida Historical Society, particularly in the acquisition and maintenance of the Brevard Museum of History and Natural Science, home of the Florida Historical Society Archaeological Institute. In addition to his work as an attorney, Harvey is the award-winning author of the children's book series "The Adventures of Charlie Pierce," based on Florida history. He is a passionate advocate for incorporating Florida history in schools.
