Shutts & Bowen LLP Orlando partner Michael A. Sjuggerud recently presented on “Real Estate Transactions with Foreign Buyers and Sellers” to the Global Committee of the Space Coast Association of Realtors®. The presentation took place in Brevard County on October 24, focusing on the complexities and issues that realtors may face when involved in a real estate transaction with foreign buyers or sellers.
Michael, who has been a business partner member of the Space Coast Association of Realtors® for several years, spoke to the group about best practices for closings involving foreign parties. He also presented on profiles of international transactions in U.S. commercial and residential real estate as well as remote online notarization for transactions involving Florida real property.
With a membership base of over 4,500 realtors, the Space Coast Association of Realtors® is a professional trade association providing services to Brevard County and the local community since 1959.

Michael A. Sjuggerud is a partner in the Orlando office of Shutts & Bowen LLP, where he is a member of the Real Estate Practice Group. He is Board Certified in Real Estate Law by The Florida Bar.
