Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce Appoints Paul Scheck to Board of Advisors

Firm News

Shutts & Bowen LLP Orlando Partner Paul Scheck has been appointed as a Board Advisor to the Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce, with his term beginning in July of 2019. This prestigious appointment coincides with Paul’s 20th year as an active Chamber member.

In February 2019 the Board of Directors for the Chamber voted unanimously in favor of transforming the Chamber’s business model, restructuring their governing boards and eliminating the previous Board for Orlando Inc., to be replaced by a smaller Board of Advisors. The Chamber is now focused on aligning programming, tools and resources with regional efforts to strengthen Orlando’s business community, which will be a key area of focus for Paul as he serves as a Board Advisor.

According to Orlando, Inc. (Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce), they are one of four lines of business of the Orlando Economic Partnership and are specifically focused on Regional Entrepreneurship. A "Five-Star Chamber" – the highest level of achievement awarded by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce – they are positioned to serve the growing needs of businesses and entrepreneurs throughout the Central Florida Region. The Orlando Regional Chamber serves a critical role in the region by preparing and empowering businesses through robust, future-focused programming that accelerates their growth.
