Shutts & Bowen Hires Three New Associates

Shutts & Bowen LLP, a leading full service Florida law firm, is pleased to announce the recent hiring of Phillip Sosnow, Téa Sisic, Andrew Schwartz, and Michael Meyer.

Téa Sisic is a member of the Labor & Employment Practice Group in Shutts & Bowen's Orlando office. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Sisic served as a law clerk to the Honorable Roy B. Dalton, Jr. and Anne C. Conway, the United States District Judges for the Middle District of Florida. Ms. Sisic earned her  law degree, Cum Laude, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law (J.D., 2010) and her Bachelor’s degree also from the University of Florida, (B.A., 2007) Cum Laude.

Michael G. Meyer is a member of the Real Estate Practice Group in Shutts & Bowen's Tampa office. He focuses his practice in all areas of commercial and real estate transactions, as well as construction transactions. While in law school, Mr. Meyer served as Senior Articles Editor for the Journal of Law and Public Policy. He also completed an externship at the office of Judge James D. Whittemore.  Mr. Meyer received his law degree the from University of Florida Levin College of Law, (J.D., 2009) Cum Laude and his Bachelor’s degree from Florida State University, (B.S. 2006) Magna Cum Laude.

Andrew E. Schwartz is a member of the Government Law and Litigation practice groups, in Shutts & Bowen’s Fort Lauderdale office. Mr. Schwartz represents businesses contracting with all levels of government, and has experience in the procurement process from preparing proposals to negotiating renewal options. While attending The George Washington University Law School, Mr. Schwartz worked as an extern at the GAO’s Procurement Law Group, where he decided numerous Bid Protests and Requests for Reconsideration. Mr. Schwartz earned his law degree at The George Washington University Law School, (J.D. 2011) and his Bachelor’s degree with honors from Brandeis University (B.A. 2008).
