Lee Nelson, a partner in Shutts & Bowen's Tampa office, in his capacity as a Board member of the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce, co-chaired the 2012 Chamber Diploma-see event in cooperation with Junior Achievement of West Central Florida.
The Diploma-see program, Economics for Success, encourages Hillsborough County 8th grade students to stay in school and earn their high school diploma. The 250 volunteers include business people, educators, community leaders, parents, and students.
Shutts & Bowen was also a lunch sponsor at two of the ten schools participating in the program.
