Alyssa Cory Appointed Trustee of Florida Supreme Court Historical Society

Alyssa Cory, a partner in Shutts & Bowen’s Tampa office was appointed by The Florida Supreme Court Historical Society’s Board of Trustees to serve a three-year term.

Alyssa began her term as an elected Trustee on July 1, 2026, joining her fellow trustees in representing the non-profit organization’s more than 800 members.

Incorporated in 1977, the Florida Supreme Court Historical Society is dedicated to maintaining records of people and events shaping the evolution of Florida's court system and to educating Floridians about the vital role of the Judicial Branch in our system of government. About Alyssa L. Cory

Alyssa L. Cory is a Partner in the Tampa office of Shutts & Bowen LLP, where she is a member of the Appellate Practice Group. Board certified in Appellate Practice, she regularly briefs and argues high-profile appeals in all six of Florida’s appellate courts, as well as in the Florida Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Her practice covers appellate advocacy in the areas of complex commercial and business disputes, constitutional issues, election-related litigation, and administrative law. She also assists clients through civil litigation support in a variety of federal and state cases with trial preservation, and developing and framing key legal arguments.
