
Shutts & Bowen LLP has added Kevin M. Koushel, one of a limited number of Florida attorneys Board Certified in Condominium and Planned Development Law, as a Real Estate Partner in its Miami office.
Kevin represents developers, investors, lenders and property owners across the full life cycle of commercial real estate transactions. His practice focuses on real estate acquisitions, dispositions and financing, as well as condominium and community association matters.
He frequently advises real estate developers on transactions involving condominiums, homeowner associations and vertical subdivisions. Kevin’s background also includes experience in construction and property management, providing him with a unique business and operational perspective that informs his approach to real estate transactions.

Kevin earned his LL.M. in Real Property Development from the University of Miami, his J.D., magna cum laude, from Nova Southeastern University, and his bachelor’s degree, with high honors, from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
He is a member of The Florida Bar Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section, the Florida Bar Condominium & Planned Development Committee, the Florida Bar Commercial Real Estate Committee and the CRE Finance Council.
