On Friday, April 17, the Catholic-Jewish Alliance (CJA), in partnership with the Jewish Lawyers Association of Miami-Dade County (JLA), held a pre-release event featuring Roy K. Altman in conversation about his forthcoming book, “Israel on Trial.” The event was held in Shutts & Bowen LLP’s Miami office.
The program opened with welcoming remarks by Aliette DelPozo Rodz, Shutts’ Miami Office Managing Partner, and Michal Meiler, President of the Miami chapter of the Jewish Lawyers Association. Deedee Bitran moderated the conversation with Roy Altman, who offered insights into the themes and legal perspectives explored in his book. Attendees also participated in an interactive Q&A session.
The event concluded with a book signing, providing guests the opportunity to connect directly with Roy Altman and commemorate the occasion. This special event brought together more than 100 members of the community for an enriching exchange of ideas and perspectives on a timely issue.
