The event was an interactive virtual opportunity for FIU Law students to engage with practitioners via Zoom while learning more about career opportunities in labor and employment law. The panelists discussed what initially sparked their interest in the field, how Covid-19 has impacted employment law, and offered general advice to the students.
The panelists included Deedee Bitran of Shutts & Bowen LLP; Adam Kemper of Greenspoon Marder LLP; and Katy Yang-Page of Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C. The event was moderated by FIU Law Professor Kerri Stone and Shutts & Bowen LLP’s incoming law clerk, Devon Hoffman.
