Navigating Supersedeas Bonds and Appellate Stays,” this CLE explored the practical and strategic challenges that emerge when a party seeks to pause enforcement of an order or judgment pending appeal. During the webinar, Julissa and her co-presenters discussed the procedure of obtaining supersedeas bonds, securing appellate stays, and navigating the underwriting and collateral process.
About Julissa Rodriguez
Julissa Rodriguez is a partner in the Miami office of Shutts & Bowen, where she is a member of the Appellate Practice Group. She is Board Certified in Appellate Practice by The Florida Bar. Julie focuses her practice on appellate litigation and trial support during all stages of litigation, which includes pre-trial motion practice, jury instructions, post-trial motion practice and proceedings supplementary.
