Patti Leonard to present to PBCBAOn Thursday, January 20, the Palm Beach County Bar Association’s Business Litigation CLE Committee will present a webinar titled “Getting Diverse and Young Lawyers into Trial – Business Litigation Perspective.”

Patricia A. Leonard, a litigation partner in the West Palm Beach office of Shutts & Bowen LLP, will serve as a panelist during the discussion. Presenters will discuss the role of law firms and partners in mentoring diverse, women, and less-experienced lawyers; the importance of providing opportunities for diverse, women, and junior lawyers to present courtroom arguments in business litigation matters; and ways to facilitate and enhance participation in business trials by diverse, women, and less-experienced attorneys.

The presenters will also be joined by a panel of judges which will provide their judicial perspective on opportunities and ways to facilitate the participation of diverse, women, and less-experienced lawyers in business litigation matters.

Patricia A. Leonard is a partner in the West Palm Beach office of Shutts & Bowen LLP, where she is a member of the Business Litigation Practice Group. Patti has a diverse business and commercial litigation practice, representing businesses in their contractual disputes, including non-compete and other employment contracts, employment discrimination matters, partnership and corporate disputes, pharmaceutical and nutraceutical litigation matters, and real estate litigation.
