Shutts & Bowen LLP Private Client Services partner Patrick Lannon presented at The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel’s (ACTEC) 2025 Florida Fellows Meeting on August 20, 2025.

At the meeting Patrick, who is Florida Bar Board Certified in Wills, Trusts and Estates, presented on “A Murky Area of Law: Community Property in Florida.” Key points in Patrick’s presentation included community property title, double step-up in basis, legacy community property issues and conflict of laws.
