Paul Scheck Named Chair-Elect of Samaritan Resource Center

Paul Scheck, a partner in Shutts & Bowen LLP’s Orlando office, has been appointed Chair-Elect of the Samaritan Resource Center, a non-profit organization working to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty in East Orange County.

Paul, who joined the Board of Directors at the Samaritan Resource Center in 2019, will work in collaboration with his fellow board members to continue to reach and assist more at-risk individuals experiencing homelessness in 2022. In addition to his work with the Samaritan Resource Center, Paul is also a member of the board for Grace Medical Home and serves two leadership roles for the Executive Council of The Florida Bar’s Trial Lawyers Section.

The Samaritan Resource Center (SRC) works to reduce the homeless population and stabilize at-risk individuals in East Orange County. Since operations began at their Colonial Drive center in 2013, the Samaritan Resource Center has helped thousands of homeless individuals by assisting with food stamps, SSI/SSD, and Assurance phones applications, as well as offering haircuts, clothing, prayer and more.
