Ricky Polston Presents on Florida’s Constitution

Shutts & Bowen LLP Tallahassee partner Ricky Polston recently spoke at the Capital City Republican Club of Tallahassee’s monthly meeting, giving a presentation on Florida’s Constitution.

During the presentation, Ricky discussed the development and structure of Florida’s Constitution, highlighting key amendments, the role of the Florida Supreme Court, significant constitutional provisions impacting everyday Floridians, and the ways in which the judiciary interprets and applies those principles. His presentation offered insight into how constitutional law shapes the state’s legal and political landscape.

A non-profit political association, the Capital City Republican Club of Tallahassee (CCRC) is dedicated to promoting conservative principles, offering a variety of activities and events for members to get involved in, such as volunteer opportunities, political discussions, and social events. Meeting the first Wednesday of each month, the CCRC has a luncheon at the Capital City Country Club to promote likeminded causes, share ideas and hear from a variety of conservative speakers.
