Sarah Balk Appointed Co-Chair of the Hillsborough County Bar Association’s Real Property, Probate & Trust Law Section

Sarah Balk, an attorney in Shutts & Bowen LLP’s Tampa office, was appointed Co-Chair of the Hillsborough County Bar Association’s Real Property, Probate & Trust Law Section (RPPTL).

With a membership of approximately 4,000 attorneys, judges and legal professionals, the Hillsborough County Bar Association (HCBA) is one of the largest voluntary bar associations in Florida. According to the organization, the HCBA offers various programs to members throughout the year, including continuing legal education seminars, opportunities for community service, informative membership luncheons and special events, and specific practice area education in conjunction with their more than 30 sections and committees.

The Florida Bar RPPTL Section focuses on improving the implementation and application of laws, rules and regulations in the fields of real property, probate and trust law and accomplishing legislative objectives. They also work to improve the administration of real property, probate and trust laws.
