
Shutts & Bowen attorney Janeil A. Morgan of the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office was pinned into the Junior Achievement of South Florida Circle of Wise Women during the organization’s annual Rosé Soirée on September 9, 2026, at The Flamingo Room at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach, Florida.
Founded in 2009, the Circle of Wise Women brings together more than 200 South Florida female leaders who support Junior Achievement’s efforts to prepare young people for the workforce and financial independence. Members contribute through mentorship, career-readiness initiatives, and fundraising.
Junior Achievement serves students from kindergarten through high school through programs focused on financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and work readiness. Today, JA reaches more than 4.8 million students per year in 109 markets across the United States, with an additional 5.2 million students served by operations in 100 other countries worldwide. Janeil’s addition to the Circle of Wise Women reflects her continued involvement in initiatives supporting youth and professional development throughout South Florida.
About Janeil A. Morgan
Janeil A. Morgan is an Associate in the Fort Lauderdale office of Shutts & Bowen LLP, where she is a member of the Government Law Practice Group. She focuses her practice on local government law, litigation, and procurement and administrative law. Her experience representing municipal agencies includes drafting human resource policies, resolutions and ordinances, public records and Florida’s Sunshine law/open government laws, as well as municipal code enforcement and land use and development regulations. Janeil has significant experience in litigation, including the foreclosure of municipal code enforcement liens and actions for declaratory and injunctive relief. Janeil also assists with internal investigations for public and not-for-profit organizations concerning employee grievances, ethics and code of conduct, discrimination and harassment matters, and litigation related to prosecuting municipal code enforcement liens. Janeil’s practice also focuses on the representation of businesses and governmental entities in administrative law, procurement disputes and bid protests.
