The flagship annual event raises awareness of water safety and childhood drowning prevention, a critical issue in South Florida. Event proceeds support financial assistance for aquatics programs, ensuring individuals and families can access water safety education regardless of their ability to pay.
Shutts & Bowen has a longstanding relationship with the YMCA of South Florida spanning more than a century, dating back to 1916, when the first board meeting of the YMCA of South Florida was held in Shutts & Bowen’s office. The firm’s founder, Frank Shutts, served on the YMCA’s first fundraising committee and was the organization’s treasurer.
