The Orlando Business Journal recognized Shutts & Bowen LLP’s Orlando office as a finalist for its “2020 Best Places to Work” awards in the large business category, ranking at No. 3 among the listed companies.
The Orlando Business Journal (OBJ) surveyed the employees of Central Florida businesses and recognized 56 finalist companies which attract, nurture and protect their employees. The finalists were broken out into five categories – from micro (10-24 employees) to giant (250+ employees) in Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Lake, Volusia and Brevard counties. Companies were examined for team effectiveness, retention risk, alignment with goals, trust with co-workers, individual contribution, manager effectiveness, trust in senior leaders, feeling valued, work engagement and people practices.
Shutts Orlando was listed among the large business category (100-249 employees), with a final Quantum performance score of 92.849 (out of 100). Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the final results were presented during a virtual conference on August 28, 2020.
“We are proud of our Shutts team and value the contributions of each team member,” said Daniel T. O’Keefe, Co-Managing Partner of the Orlando office. “We are honored to be recognized as one of the Best Places to Work in Central Florida.”
