Shutts & Bowen LLP is pleased to announce that attorney Spencer E. Hennings has been selected to participate in the annual Leadership Miami® program that helps develop up-and-coming leaders.

Leadership Miami® is a program sponsored by the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce and several of Miami-Dade County’s premier companies, local agencies and corporations. The program offers participants the opportunity to share an intensive learning experience that focuses on community issues and leadership skills through a planned process of lectures, seminars, small group discussions, and leadership curriculum developed in partnership with local universities. One of the key purposes of Leadership Miami® is to prepare the next generation of Miamians to address vital issues affecting Miami-Dade County and meet future challenges. The program’s dynamic format stimulates animated and critical discussions among participants and guest speakers.

Spencer will participate in the program’s Miami 48 Fall Cohort, running from August 2026 to December 2026.

About Spencer E. Hennings

Spencer E. Hennings is a Senior Associate in the Miami office of Shutts & Bowen LLP, where he is a member of the Real Estate Practice Group. In 2020, Spencer received a gubernatorial appointment to serve as Florida’s Condominium Ombudsman. From 2020-2023, he resolved thousands of issues in condominium associations, served as the state’s liaison to those affected by the Miami-Dade Surfside condo collapse, and helped draft new condominium legislation at the local and state levels.
