Francis Rodriguez to Speak at Estate & Probate Seminar

Francis E. Rodriguez, a partner in the firm's Miami office, will speak at the Palm Beach County Bar Association's 25th Annual Estate & Probate Seminar. Mr. Rodriguez will cover the range of tax considerations a US tax resident faces when acquiring non-US real estate for personal use. The program will be held at the Crowne Plaza West Palm Beach from 8:15 am to 4:30 pm May 14, 2008. Mr. Rodriguez’ practice focuses on federal and Florida tax issues, as well as general business transactions. Mr. Rodriguez regularly assists non-residents and foreign corporations with inbound tax planning and US tax residents and domestic corporation with outbound tax planning. He also represents lenders and borrowers with respect to commercial lending transactions.
