2017 Partner PromotionsShutts & Bowen LLP named four new partners during its annual meeting.

Christine P. Bandin is a member of the firm’s Class Action and Mass Litigation Practice Group in Miami. She focuses her practice on insurance defense matters and coverage disputes. She has substantial experience trying cases involving fraud, medical necessity, improper billing and coverage. She received her J.D. from the University of Miami and her B.A. from Florida International University.

Ryan C. Reinert is a member of the firm’s Creditors’ Rights/Bankruptcy Group in Tampa. Ryan focuses his practice on business bankruptcy, including trustee and creditor committee representation, and commercial litigation. He represents commercial lenders in traditional, pooled, joint venture and CMBS loans. He’s also represented vendors, landlords and contractors in Chapter 7 and 11 bankruptcy cases. He received his J.D. from Stetson University and his B.A. from Northern Kentucky University.

James P. Terpening III is a member of the firm’s Construction Litigation Practice Group in Tampa. He is Florida Bar Board Certified in Construction Law. He represents owners, developers, general contractors, subcontractors, design professionals, and lenders in disputes involving construction defects, delay claims, mechanic’s liens, insurance coverage, bond issues, construction loans, and more. He received his J.D. from Emory University School of Law and received his B.S. from the University of Florida.

Jamie B. Wasserman is a member of the firm’s Business Litigation Practice Group in Fort Lauderdale. She represents developers, commercial landlords, and lenders in real estate litigation matters, partners or members of legal entities in business disputes, and physicians, physician group practices, home health agencies, physical therapy and rehabilitation centers, and skilled nursing facilities in transaction and healthcare/employment relationships. She received her J.D. from Nova Southeastern University and her B.A. from the University of Wisconsin.
