Benjamin Elliott and Michael Gore Speak at 2022 Federal Court Summer Series Seminar

Benjamin Elliott and Michael Gore, partners in Shutts & Bowen LLP’s Orlando office, recently spoke at the Orlando Chapter of the Federal Bar Association’s 2022 Summer Series, a six-part program for law students working in Orlando and nearby areas.

The 2022 Summer Series, presented by the Bench Bar Fund of the Middle District of Florida and the Orlando Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, introduces law students to the federal court system, including federal judges, practitioners and various aspects of federal practice. Speaking during the June 24th program, “Professionalism and Ethics,” Ben Elliott moderated the session and Michael Gore served as a panelist during the discussion. The presentation, which was held at the U.S. District Courthouse, discussed navigating federal litigation and decorum as a young attorney and the relevant ethical considerations in civil and criminal settings.

Ben currently serves as the Young Lawyers Chair for the Orlando Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. He was also responsible for the organization of the 2022 Summer Series, working with the panelists, presenters and participating judges to coordinate the event.
