Florida Bar Appoints Ryan McCarthy to UPL CommitteeMiami partner Ryan McCarthy, a member of the firm’s Class Action and Mass Litigation practice group, has been appointed to serve on the Unlicensed Practice of Law Circuit Committee by The Florida Bar. Ryan will serve a 3-year term on the Fifteenth Circuit UPL Committee “A.”

Florida’s 31 local Unlicensed Practice of Law Circuit Committees, composed of lawyers and nonlawyers, investigate complaints alleging that an individual is practicing law without a license. Final appointments are made by the Florida Supreme Court.
