Shutts & Bowen Announces Addition of Paul A. Hechenberger to its Miami Office

Miami, FL – Paul A. Hechenberger has rejoined Shutts & Bowen LLP as a partner in its Corporate Practice Group in the firm’s Miami office. Hechenberger, who previously practiced with Shutts & Bowen from 2005 to 2007, returns after serving as General Counsel for a private equity-based aviation investment platform with both a Part 121 airline and Part 145 MRO facilities, and prior to that at two publicly traded manufacturing and aviation service providers.

Hechenberger focuses his practice on domestic and international M&A, and growth related complex commercial transactions and joint ventures, as well as entity choice, formation, governance and compliance. He has significant experience in the aerospace and defense manufacturing, service, supply chain, and MRO arenas, as well as in automotive and hospitality sectors. He served as a Naval Flight Officer in the U.S. Navy, where he retired as a Captain with 30 years of combined active and reserve service.

Hechenberger received his undergraduate degree from the Villanova University, his M.B.A. from University of West Florida and his law degree from University of Florida.
