Shutts Tampa Gives Back to Community with Feeding Tampa Bay

Shutts & Bowen LLP’s Tampa office recently supported Feeding Tampa Bay with a community service project on May 18, 2022. Working together, the Tampa team helped to squash out hunger with the distribution of 6,400 meals.

Attorneys and staff from the firm’s Tampa office devoted time after work to volunteer at the Feeding Tampa Bay warehouse, helping to inspect and package foods for distribution to those experiencing hunger in the community. In attendance at the volunteer event were R. Alan Higbee, Ella Shenhav, Sally Woodward, Karen Minaie, Woodrow Pollack, Tina Rosenberger, Katie Chambers, Melodie Khosrovani, Carla Peck, Fred Werdine, Christine Grant, Amber Davis, Jacquelyne Murray, Sandra Bishoff, Bridget Dennis, Juanita Heard, Angela Drago, Carol Hill, Valerie Cisco and Lia DeLeary.

Feeding Tampa Bay, part of the national Feeding America network, focuses on providing food to nearly 1 million food insecure families in the 10-county area of West Central Florida. The organization is leading the movement to end hunger, rallying our community together to create a healthier, more capable Tampa Bay and beyond.
