Fort Lauderdale, FL – Shutts & Bowen, a full-service business law firm, is pleased to announce that Philip C. Rosen and Scott A. Marcus joined its Fort Lauderdale office as partners in the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group.

“Philip and Scott, with their combined 51 years of experience, add valuable legal expertise to our firm’s real estate practice group,” said Joseph M. Goldstein, Fort Lauderdale Office Managing Partner.  “We are excited to welcome such high-quality attorneys to our team as our office continues to grow in the new year.”

Rosen focuses his practice on commercial real estate matters and business transactions. With more than 23 years of experience, he has counseled clients through the life cycle of their transactions across all asset classes. His clients include investors, developers, REITs, commercial landlords and tenants, private and institutional lenders, franchisees and business owners throughout Florida and the United States.

He received his undergraduate degree from Binghamton University and his law degree from Brooklyn Law School.

Marcus focuses his practice on commercial real estate matters.  With more than 28 years of experience, he has counseled clients through their transactions which include acquisitions and dispositions of raw land, industrial, multi-family, office and retail properties. He was reappointed in 2021 to serve a third, two-year term on the Florida Realtor-Attorney Joint Committee, representing the 4th Appellate District.

He received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida and his law degree from Western Michigan University’s Thomas M. Cooley Law School.
