Shutts & Bowen LLP Tampa Partner Timothy Woodward was pleased to participate as a panelist at the University of Florida Levin College of Law’s 1L Private Sector Professional Development Conference on October 2.

Timothy participated in a litigation panel, sharing insights and perspectives with first-year law students interested in exploring careers in the private sector. Tampa attorney Melodie Khosrovani also represented the firm at a table, connecting with students and answering questions about opportunities with the firm.

UF Law’s Annual 1L Private Sector Professional Development Conference brings together first-year students and employers for an afternoon of valuable career panels and networking. The program kicked off with concurrent panels on corporate law and litigation that gave students practical insight into transactional practice, the litigation process, client expectations and career paths in each field. Following the sessions, students connected with attorneys and recruiters from 24 leading law firms during a networking reception, exploring summer employment opportunities for their 1L and 2L years.
