The Daily Business Review released its 13th annual Most Effective Lawyers special report, recognizing the “extraordinary work performed by South Florida attorneys in the past year.” According to the publication, attorneys were asked to show proof of positive results obtained for their clients, illustrating obstacles overcome and their impact on public policy and business interests.
The Shutts & Bowen team, led by International Dispute Resolution practice group chair Ed Patricoff and including partners Peter Levitt and Kristina Candido and associates Kristin Drecktrah Paz, Marcela Lozano and Aleksey Shtivelman, was named Most Effective Lawyers in the category of Business/Complex Litigation for their work recovering more than $45 million from the government of Angola for Jacksonville-based APR Energy.
