Nicholas Meros, a partner in Shutts & Bowen LLP’s Tallahassee office, recently spoke on a panel at the 2025 Annual Brownfields Conference, presented by the Florida Brownfields Association (FBA).
Nick spoke on the “Shareholder Forum on Contaminated Site Issues In Florida – Part 1” panel, on Wednesday, September 10. During the presentation, Nick and his fellow panelists addressed the changing landscape of Brownfields development and litigation and its impact on redevelopment including PFAS, the impact of interest rates on projects, and the passage of recent brownfields legislation and proposed related rulemaking.
The FBA Annual Brownfields Conference is the annual conference and signature event of the FBA, which hosts presentations, workshops, and discussions on topics ranging from Brownfields redevelopment, funding and incentives, innovations in the Brownfields industry, environmental justice, and more.
