Shutts & Bowen LLP’s Tampa office hosted a pro bono luncheon on October 7 to highlight the meaningful impact pro bono legal service can have in the community.
The event featured several former pro bono clients who shared their personal experiences and stories of how the legal assistance they received made a difference in their lives.
Joan Boles, President and CEO of Bay Area Legal Services, also joined the luncheon to discuss the organization’s work in the community, the ongoing need for pro bono support, and the many ways attorneys can get involved.
Partners Eric Adams, Ella Shenhav, attorneys Melodie Khosrovani, Melina Khosrovani and Thomas Fuhrman, and paralegal Anne Kufro, presented the luncheon, joining colleagues and community members in recognizing the importance of providing access to legal services for those in need.
