Jennifer J. Perez is a Partner in the Miami office of Shutts & Bowen LLP, where she is a member of the Corporate Practice Group.
Jennifer has over 20 years of experience focusing her practice on commercial disputes, corporate transactions and agreements, statutory and regulatory compliance and labor, employment and insurance matters in the healthcare, corporate, and financial services sectors.
Jennifer has extensive experience in the healthcare sector, having spent almost 10 years as Vice President and General Counsel of a leading healthcare management services organization (MSO), providing transactional, litigation and mediation support to more than 700 physicians and other providers, executives and office managers on group practice, healthcare, employment, real estate, and corporate legal issues. Her previous roles have garnered her experience in advising Boards of Directors and Board committees, managed care plan contract negotiations, HIPAA, insurance, Medicare and Florida Office of Insurance Regulation and cybersecurity issues, as well as both litigation and transactional working matters.
