Michelle G. Hendler is a Partner in the Miami office, where she is a Co-Chair of the Creditors' Rights Practice Group.

In working to resolve disputes in and outside of the courtroom, Michelle focuses her practice on real estate and creditor's rights matters. She represents lenders, real estate investors, and special servicers in commercial foreclosures, loan enforcement actions, guaranty claims, and note sales, and she represents court-appointed receivers.

Michelle also handles a wide variety of commercial matters, including real estate litigation, business disputes, landlord-tenant issues, easements, and domestication and enforcement of out-of-state judgments. She also regularly represents gasoline distributors and oil companies in a variety of matters, including tenant disputes and issues under the Petroleum Marketing Practices Act.

Michelle often speaks about commercial foreclosures, receiverships, and related issues. She authored both foreclosure chapters in the Florida Real Property Litigation, published by the Florida Bar (2018). She also wrote "Creditors Have New Guide for Next Commercial Real Estate Lull," published in the Daily Business Review.

Outside of the office, Michelle dedicates a significant amount of time to community and professional organizations.
